My son is 7mos old and cant have anything with wheat in it. It has gotten to the point we have to have an epi pen. Does anyone know of any good snacks that dont have wheat?

Yes there are rice and potato crackers and a company called Pamalas that has glutton free foods which is wheat free. Look in the health food section of the grocery store .

I have celiac and crohns, and I get my wheat free snacks from health food stores like nutters and planet organic market. safeway and save on foods has fairly good health food sections too. anything marked "gluten free" is safest, but there are also products marked "wheat free" that are not gluten free, but may be safe for your little one. a good website is www.celiac.ca

if you need more info let me know, and I'll go look in my pantry and give you a specific list of products!

watties makes rice crackers for kids they are gluten free. My daughter is not allowed anything with wheat either. I ended up giving them to my daughter instead of teething rusks. They are in the baby section at the supermarket. They are called baby rice cakes I think and they come in honey or tomatoe flavor . I will check when I buy some more today.
