Make a band! My nieces and nephews LOVED doing this when I was watching them. Use spoons and buckets or pans for drums, a rubber band stretched over a piece of cardboard or cake pan for a guitar, and tupperware (small for small hands) filled with dried beans, popcorn, coins, or uncooked noodles for maracas. (make sure the lid is super tight or glue it on so that they can't choke on anything if it accidently opens. You can create a song and if you have a video camera record yourselves playing and let them watch it. Or, put on funny hats or clothes and have a parade! Good luck!!

Build forts, watch holiday movies, make musical instruments out of pots and pans, let them get in the bathtub just to splash and play, cuddle up on the couch and talk and laugh with them, or build towers out of blocks and knock them down. I have a 3 year old and an 11 month old and kinda in the same boat but we're just spending good quality time together. You could even bring out any boxes, totes, or laundry baskets you have. Little ones love to climb in and out of them and play on them.

bake Christmas cookies, make ornaments, play hide and seek, have an indoor picnic but have the foods all be one color (oranges, carrots, cheetos)
