I know. I feel like this too. I live in a small town. No one new to ever meet. The few friends I have don't invite me to do anything very often I don't know why and don't really care anymore. I'm bored 99% of the time. No money to go anywhere. It sucks. I have no good advice for this except that if you do have money GO OUT and do stuff as often as possible with and without the kids. I'm sick of sitting on the same spot of the couch feeding, diapering etc. I love my kids but GOD I need a life too.

join two mom's groups so you can do things twice a week and join a non moms group like a book club you can find online that meets on the weekends so your man can watch the kids. You need one day a week where you can go out of the house competely without your kids.

I feel the same way, sometimes. When I get a breather I don't want to clean or anything, just relax. I have so many things I have to do just inside the house, not to mention errands. I just feel like getting away for a weekend or something. Not to mention, we also have a Great Dane, small pony, literally. Maybe even bigger.

I have felt this way, it was depressing. So, get out of the house! For awhile, my internet connection was my lifeline because I found other grownups to talk to.

Before my kids were small, there were times that we just got out of the house. No money to spend, but we had to get out. We'd go to the pet store and look at all the animals, we went to the library a lot. lol And stores that have food samples, like Costco. We went to the mall a lot to go play at the indoor play areas.

Sometimes just going outside helps. There are other people out there and you might meet a new friend.

As I write I have a baby on my knee and a toddler running about. I am at home with them 7 days a week and do 95% of the parenting, some days I wonder what its like out there in the real world while I am stuck in a routine of naps, nappies, tear wiping, parks, housework, but my life is so full of joy and I wouldnt want my kids anywhere else but with me. Yes some days are just boring and in fact quiet lonley as an adult but when they are in bed at night I get time to have a glass of wine and relax. Being a SAHM is not for everyone but i am glad to be at this stage of my life with to healthy kids because one day they will be off to school then it will be all over.

i know excatly what you mean shayna, i quite often dream of that weekend get away just to sit in a nice clean, tidy hotel room in a robe with a magazine not having to get lunch for this person or wash a uniform for that person or give this person a bath or wash the floor or cook dinner lol you get the idea...i want a holiday!! whenever i have a day without the kids all i can manage to do is catch up on house work or get some other errand done.i find it easier to have "me time" if i actually go out to a cafe by myself with a good book..something like that lol
