Soy Milk

My Health Nurse suggested that I give my son Jack Soy Milk as he had bad eczma on his face. I did this. His eczma has improved to the point that it has visibly gone. I wonder if anyone else has done this? I am googling and all I seem to find is the "bad" or negative information of soy milk. Also I am banging my head against the wall because every brand of soy milk has different ingredients eg one has "whole soy bean milk", another has " soy protein" another has " whole ground soybeans"..... Which is best????? What do I do ??????? Please reply if you have any advise to offer.... Thank you.

Have you tried Lactose free milk? I had this issue with my children...and once I switched to Lactose Free they cleared... I worked on Labor & Delivery for years...& was told by a lot of pediatricians I worked with that staying as close to milk as you can is best...and not to directly resort to soy if you dont have to.

Now that you are seeing him clear up.... it may be a good time to try Lactose free to see if that would flare it up again. Typical milk allergies show in mucus, abdominal discomfort, stools, low eating habits & foul smelling stool/breath.

As far as the difference in the soy? I am not familiar enough with this and not sure on the difference. sorry :(

HTH :)
