When you start her on solids she should spit up less often at least both mine and my friends babies did. My daughter was breastfed and she still spit up a lot. I would let the doctor know at her next visit. As long as it isn't projectile or anything like that I really wouldn't worry TOO much cause all babies spit up, part of it is that they just don't know when to stop eating and they stuff their little tummies until they are overflowing. The other ladies are right it could be those things but it is normal for babies to spit up...that's just the way it is. You could call your doctor's office(a nurse will speak to you about the issue) if you don't want to wait for the appointment....they shouldn't care that's what they are there for!!!

some babies just spit up, my son did from 3-6 months it was more annoying for me then anything because i was constantly doing laundry, as long as it's not projectile vomitting or excessive spit up it's not really a worry, you can ask your doctor and see what they think

talk to your dr. if you are really worried about it. my son spits up a lot too, so i changed his formula to one that is made for babies that spit up frequently. it helped a lot! he does still spit up every now and than...but that is babies for ya!! :-)

my 5.5 month old has always spit up. she get breastmilk and has formula sometimes too. formula is worse. its annoying! if its really really bad, she might have an 'issue'. try a formula designed for spitup.

hey! I had the exact same problem with my daughter that started when she was about 1-2 months old! she was diagnosed with acid reflux. She uses Similac Sensitive R.S (rice startch) .. its a thicker formula and does help a bit.. she also is now prescribed zantac and that helps also, but she is still does spit up quite often.. its more of something you just have to deal with as long as shes growing and gaining weight! hope that helps :)

Your child may have a thing called Gastric Reflux, its abit like intigestion. Go to the doctors, they can give her special medicine to put in her formula or even give her a different formula that is softer on her stomach. Hope this helps

What kind of formula do you use? It could be reflux, or a lactose intolerance, or that you just aren't burping her frequently enough.
