I have been a stay at home mom for almost 4 years, and have a 4 year old daughter, and 21/2 month old son. Money is tight almost all the time so I want to get a job, but I feel like crying at just the thought of leaving mu children so I can work. I will be able to do so much more with them and for them if I work. How do I cope with leaving them, how do I feel better about it instead of feeling like a bad mom for leaving them with a babysitter 5 days a week?

Have you thought about working from home? I can't imagine how you feel. I just started working from home and I can't tell you how much better it makes me feel to be with my baby. Regardless, do not beat yourself up over this. Do what you need to do to make ends meet but I would seriously look into working from home so it could be temporary.

If you could, would you work from home? That was my only option when I was in your shoes. But regardless of what you decide to do......like Jennifer said....you have given many years to them and now you need to financially provide. You are a great mom! Good luck to you!

Dont say u are a bad mom cause you are not..u find money for the shake of your children and reality needs money.anyway u already giving your best by giving your whole 4 years to your child.some people give none of their time.so when on weekends you still have time to play with your child.treasure that time cause time never comeback.^^
