Hello moms!
I am 22 years old, stay at home mom of an almost 3 year old daughter. I currently do small babysitting jobs. We will finally be moving into our own place soon and I am wanting to do more full time childcare.

I was just curious as to what you moms would pay for childcare, or if you're a childcare provider as well, how much you charge.
I've just been thinking because I'll be responsible to food.

Thank you in advanced! :)

Yeah my fiancé and I talked about that. My mother in law did daycare for 14 years so I've been talking to her too. She had 7 kids. I'll probably only be able to take 3 kids so including my daughter that will be 4. I will be certified through the state in a couple weeks. I'm going through that process right now.

I wouldn't want my daughter or any of the other kids getting sick so I think if a child has a fever, runny nose, cough they'd have to stay home. Unless things like the cough are due to other things.

Sarah, yeah I will be providing food and snacks.
I am on care.com and according to that, in my area it should be $11 an hour. I know I've been told not to undersell myself but I also don't want people thinking I'm out of my mind.

You would be better off asking around your area. You can also ring childcare providers and ask them what they charge. Google local providers and ask them.
Being an international site you won't get accurate feedback as different countries have different government assistance and therefore rates are different.
