My babies are 6 months and almost 3 yrs old. I finished high school but never did go to college. The restraunt biz sucked me in and I did okay for myself until I met my hubby and we started a family. I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with my babies, but time goes by so fast and what am I to do when they start school? I decided that I will need some sort of career to not only keep me busy, but I would really like to own a home some day and although my husband has a really good career, it is almost impossible for a family of four to be comftorable on one income.

All that being said... I am absolutely terrified to go to school! I have never left my babies with anybody for more than an hour or two in three years! What if everything crashes around me? How do you balance a home, family and school succesfully?

I would be so gratefull for any and all advice!

I went for medical assistant and nursing assistant. I love them both. I hope you succeed in which ever career you chose. Any medical career is great.

Your children will be fine! think positive, have faith and pray, do a lot of research and looking around until you find the right caregivers for them. I spent exactly 2 months of sleepless nights thinking that my little one would suffer by going to daycare and being under the care of strangers, and guess what?! to my relief and amazement, he adjusted just fine. I think as mothers we suffer from this separation way more than the children do, and honestly, it's normal because we think of the 100's of things that could go wrong. The reality is that children are great at adapting to new people and situations, much better than we give them credit for.

Follow your dream and go to school, your entire family will benefit from it, any way you look at it, it's a win/win situation.
