Struggling with the idea of a mess.

I have been a housewife off and on for about a year now. And my house is always spotless. However we are bringing our newborn son into the world on august 3rd, and i am terrified i wont be able to keep up with my level of cleanliness. I will be the first to admit i go over the top with my cleaning, but ive now gotten used to going over the top. I don't know how well i'll handle looking at the crazy mess, that comes with my beautiful newborn. Any advice?? Thanks, and Happy Easter!

I just had my first back in September. The first couple months are going to be crazy, you'll probly feel like a zombie most days but if you have it in you, they tend to nap pretty regularly and soundly at first. I would put him in his carseat swaddled up for naps so i could move around the house and do laundry and the dishes. I could make lots of noise when he was first born and he would just sleep right through it. Now at almost 7 months he is a much lighter napper. Try getting near by friends or family to come over and help out. Everyone loves a new baby. Good luck and congratulations.
