Being a first time mother I was wanting to know what has works for a 7 month old for swiming bottoms. I have looked at the disposable diapers and cloth ones that can be reused. Please let me know what has worked for you. My son is around 17pounds. Thank you for your comments.

I use pampers little swimmers for my daughter and they work well but as others have said theywill only catch the poop so if he already went then you shold e able to just use swim trunks

I agree with the others on here, I love the little swimmers, but something to remember is that all they really do is "catch" the poop. if your child pees in them it won't catch it. the pee is still released into the water. so if you have a child that pees a lot, that is something to think about. I just waited until she had already pooped for the day, and then took her in the water in her bathing suit., it worked out okay. Good Luck, I hope this helps.

I have used the Huggies swim diapers for my daughter since she was 5 months old and we still do use them every week and she is now 2.5 years. We find they work great.
