My family including my 2 and 3 year old daughters got the vaccine today. The injectable kind which is what we got, is a dead form of the virus. Which means the virus is not going into you. It is a preventative so you do not get it! The mist though is a live version of the virus and would never let my children have that either. The shot though is perfectlly safe, and our pediatrician actually recommended it.
The vaccine that was given in 1976 was associated with Guillian Barre Syndrome. This is a totally diffferent vaccine from the one given then.

The last 'outbreak' of the swine flu was in 1976 and the 'vaccine' they produced to help prevent this killed more people than it helped AND killed more people than the flu did! I will not put that into my child's body! There are 'rare' neurological diseases you can get from just a regular flu vaccine (which I do not give my children or self either) *just google the redskins cheerleader who got the flu shot* I think that I would rather take the chance of my child getting sick from the swine flu than to put this vaccine that is basically shooting the flu into you! Where does everyone else stand on this?
