I would not give them the shots. All you need to do is make sure when you do go to the store is bring some wipes for the buggy and wipe the handle and if they touch stuff just make sure that they clean there hands before they put them on their face or in their mouth cause we all know that they will. If you think that they have been in contact with someone who has it give them something warm to drink because the virsus cannot live in the stomach to much acid. You should also do the same and you should gurggle with warm saline solution and you should and blow your nose really good and then get a q-tip and put the saline solution on it and swabb inside your nose. you can also do this to your children's nose's to. I know this sounds gross but it does work. Plus, you just can not beat the old age saying of wash wash your hands before you eat and/or touch you mouth or face after being out during this season of flu and swine flu time.

I wouldn't get it. Especially for little kids or pregnant women. Flu shots in general are bad enough, because the developers guess at what the next year's strain will be and they are wrong 80% of the time. Also, all flu's originated in birds and swine, so to call this "swine flu" is just kind of silly. In other countries swine flu has turned out to be no worse than any other seasonal bug.

Plus, the H1N1 shot has only been in testing for a couple months. The last time there was a swine flu "epidemic," there were only a few people who actually got it by natural means. However, everyone was scared into taking the vaccine, and thousands got sick, developed a chronic illness, or died from the shot.

It sounds like your gut instinct is correct. If you are nervous or hesitant, don't do it!

I'd never ever give that poison to anyone, much less a baby. Too much to lose, so little to POSSIBLY gain. The swine flu isn't something to be afraid of or even likely for people to get. So why get a dangerous shot to prevent it? It's no worse than the regular flu. Bed rest and maybe antibiotics are all it takes. Save yourself the money, the dr visit, and the worry. Skip it.
