My son turned 1 year on March 24th and we have been trying to wean him onto whole milk and he has had diarrhea to where it will seep out the sides of his diaper and get everywhere!! Wondering if this is normal and if this happened to your kid and if how long it took them to get used to it or if they turned out lactose intolerant.
Thanks ladies

I called the doctor and she said she thinks it is a stomach bug since he threw up twice on Wednesday. Alot of kids have been sick recently so hopefully that is it, no more whole milk till he shakes this bug then we will re-introduce it,
Thank you for the advice :))

No it's not normal. I haven't experienced it with either of my children. But I am lactose intolerant and that's what milk does to me.
Talk to his doctor about alternatives. He may suggest goats milk, soy, almond, lactose-free. But speak to him/her about the best alternative.

That isn't normal. I would definitely take him to the doctor to see if he is lactost intolerant. It sure sounds like it to me.
