I have a 5 month old daughter who is teething, she got her first tooth in with a lot of fussing, and my son is 16 months old, and is teething. He is getting his back teeth in, and it isn't easy for him either! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to soothe their pain. I've tried teething rings and they don't want them. I've given them some medicine to help with the fever and a little of the pain, but I don't think it's working to well. Thanks for your help!

If you live in the US I have also my husband and I get those teething tablets at Target and Walgreens. I don't have anything to suggest that you haven't tried. Good luck!

My daughter isn't a horrible teether, but it is hard to watch her in so much pain (and I hate it when she doesn't sleep)! I have found that Hyland's Teething Tablets work pretty well for her. Most of the Mommies I know swear by them, too. They are fast acting and homepathic. I prefer to give them to her vs. tylenol or oragel. My husband's great-aunt told me once to be careful with the oragel because it could paralyze her throat -- depends on how much is used, I'm sure! But, it has scared me nonetheless to the point that we rarely use it (but, when we need super fast pain relief it is handy).

I found the teething tablets at both Ukrop's and Wegman's. I imagine a natural food or vitamin store would carry them.

Hope that helps!
