Ok, I know this a question that all mum's tend to dread but I need some help with my daughter Gracie who I am toilet training at the moment and I know its long and arduous but I don't see any progress at all. I have started putting knickers on her so she can understand what it is like to feel wet - sometimes it upsets her and sometimes, like the other day, she didn't seem to care that her knickers were full of wee and poo. I need any advice - big or small - whatever tips you have I'm listening. Thanks

Hi Kathryn,

I actually was worried about my son and potty training. Since he is 2 I figured its time he started learning. I wasnt getting anywhere with it and started reading an article in parenting magazine about potty training. It said that potty training shouldnt be forced for rushed and children are ready at different times. It also said if you rush/force potty training it may actually take longer. Try to make the potty fun and exciting. If he/she is fighting it then hold off about a month and try again. They will let you know when they are ready. Hope this helps.
