I want to start school again but my husband doesn't like the idea of putting my daughter in daycare. I think daycare would be good for her on a number of levels but he thinks she is too young. Also what do I need to look for in a daycare?

I think daycare is a great thing for kids especially if they are an only child. It helps with development and social skills. I run a daycare from my home so that my daughter can play with other children. I also go to school online. I highly recommend online schooling. If you cant afford daycare or the hubby and you cant agree on it then maybe that's the best way to go. My daughter is 2 now and by the time she gets into school, I will be done with my degree. I got to be at home with my daughter and when she's in school I will be able to work.

Hi!

I just started back to school in January and have 2 little kids at home. My husband didnt want me to go either so I made him compramise with me. He told me that I could go to school if it didnt mean that our kids had to go to daycare. I work from home and do my classes online so that I can still be home with my kids. Online classes are great because I do them when my kids are napping, playing, or asleep at night. Would definately check out online classes. Good luck and going back to school has been a great experience for me.

I am now going to school the best decision I ever made, the only thing is, is taking my daughter to daycare. I only go one day for 4 hours, and she goes to a daycare with a lady that I know from churcha and she owns the place. Not saying that I still like the idea of taking her, but I think of it as making a better life for her. That is what keeps me going and positive about leaving her with someone else. When choosing a daycare I believe its best to go out visit different places ask if you can view them taking care of other children, and the cleanliness of the place. Then I would list them all and make a pro and con list and go from there.
