We did the pee pee on the potty dance with my 2 boys when they were 18 months.  When they got to be about 2 I started giving them stickers when they would pee.  Then if they pooped I would give them Hot Wheels or some candy.

I am doing the same with my 18 month now.  I have 3 boys.  My older 2 were potty trained by 2 1/2.  They loved getting stickers & hot wheels.

Use whatever gets your sons attention. Maybe a sticker, a high 5, lots of praise, a pottie dance, or a treat. Whatever works for you.

lucky you that is nice and early. if he is into stickers yeah i would use them, but if not maybe do the dance thing or after a day or a week off weeing you and him go out somewhere just the two of you.

My oldest son received stickers every time he went on the potty, and we still have the sticker book.

I realize now, though, that we never gave him stickers any other time. How is it a reward if you get them all the time? But it worked, he wasn't 3 when he was fully out of diapers, and he still likes looking thru the old sticker book.

I have read on MANY different websites, and in parenting books, not to give food as a reward (ie. jellybeans, chocolate chips, etc.), so I thought stickers were a good alternative. When he started to go whole days without accidents, we got BIG stickers, sparkly ones or otherwise *special* ones, to celebrate.

Hope this helps, and try not to stress too much.
