i have a 21 month old daughter who is headin into her"big girl" stage,as we like to call it. she has no more binkies, no more babas, and we just recently turned her crib into a daybed. now i'm tryin to get her to use a potty, just yesterday i bought a potty tht she picked out bc i thought tht it wud make it easier for her to use it if she liked it. it's a princess potty that plays music when she goes potty in it. well... she likes sittin on it... but thts about it. LOL i help her take off her diaper and pants to show her how to use it. she just sits for a second and then gets up and starts cryin if i tell her to go pee pee in it. am i startin her too early?maybe she's not ready? i just figured she would be since she's been tellin me when she goes pee pee or poop in her diaper. i thought that THAT was a good sign to start training her. my husband says that we should start a chart and put stickers on it when she goes... but i don't know if that will work if i can't even get her to stay on it to go! any suggestions???
