My 8 month old is currently very needy. Most of the time it’s not an issue, I will sit on the floor and play with him. But sometimes there are certain things I need to get done around the house that I can’t do when he’s sleeping. Such as lowering the level on his crib. Unfortunately he has complete meltdowns whenever I try doing anything, so bad that a 5 minute chore will take around an hour
Does anyone have any tips for how to keep him busy and happy so I can get things done every once in a while? Being able to prepare meals while he’s awake would be a life saver! Mama’s getting hungry!

SNACKS! My daughter is going through the exact same thing and I can usually get 20-30 minutes if I put on Baby Nursery Rhymes on Youtube (Bright and colorful and the music is captivating for her.), and give her a snack usually some Crunchie's with a sippy cup full of apple juice. I also try to incorporate her into regular chores and stuff like cooking. Even though she is only 9 months old I find ways to make it fun. I recently shared a post on how I have fun in the kitchen with my daughter if it would help you!
