i was just wondering if anyone else felt this way...... my husband and i have always tried to be smart with our money, and of corse like many others we were in a real tight crunch this year, so we pinched our pennies as best we could. well we are getting alot more back for our taxes this year then what we had expected. so we have already made plans to pay off the harley and the credit card. ( which leaves us with only the house payment and the car) in that way im really happy that we are getting rid of our debt and all but sometimes i just wish i could take a vacation or something fun with our money!!!!!

Now you can start saving for that. Goodness girl, you two are very smart & way ahead of everyone (or most). Your Harley will be paid for!!!!! No one can ever take that away. CC are just a $$$$ pit. A never ending cost. Be proud & start a vacation fund! Next your house & car will be paid for too.

Sometimes you do have to do something that is just for fun. My husband and I did that not too long ago. We both have a lot of debt that we have been working on paying off, and it's great to know that they are taken care of, but let me tell you one thing...There will always be something that needs payed off. I'm not saying that you should just go and blow the whole thing, but take some and have fun with it. When you are older, you won't remember "that time you payed off the harley" but you will remember the great time you all had when you went on a camping trip, or vacation or whatever. Your kids are only this little for once, so make the best of it! Think of it as an investment in your marriage and your family, and as far as I'm concerned, those are the best investments you could ever make.
