I'm constantly cleaning. Growing up my house was always a disaster, filthy, sometimes you couldn't even walk through the living room. My mother is a hoarder. So now I am a clean freak. I have the same issue with my husband. He used to pick up after himself, that is until we got married and then he realized that I would do it.

I had to put a stop to it though. I finally said "enough is enough" you are a grown man. I already have 2 kids to take care of. So pick up your junk. Put your dirty clothes in the designated laundry basket. Put your shoes in the closet, and for heavens sake rinse out your milk cups. He has come a long way in the five years that we have been married. Once he realized how much it helped me out, he started pulling his own weight.

Just remember to give him a small reward when he does something right. LOL

lol i feel your pain! before having kids i would always clean as soon as i woke up! i would then put a post-it note on the door that said "TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF!!!" and 99% of the time he would before entering! lol

we also went through a period of time where he would refuse to believe me when i told him that he would spill his coffee everyyywhere in the mornings! one day i saw the stains all over the tile again so i refused to clean it that day! when he came home i pointed every spot out and he finally saw what i was refering too!

men!!! *shakes her head* lol

it usually takes a strike for them to see part of what we go through everyday
