tired...will this ever end?

I know it will, but its one of those days I need reminded.
I have a 4yr old, 2 yr old, and 5 1/2 month old. I feel like I never sleep. I feel like there is always someone in our bed, or I'm in their bed. I try to stay up with my husband simply so we can talk without codes hand signs, and spelling lol, then I suffer the next day because our kids like to get up at 6:30am.
I'm running on 2 hours of sleep today only to look over at my husband (who slept all night) and he has fallen asleep in his chair. He is VERY helpful, loving, involved Father. So I'm not mad at him, just jealous as 2 of the 3 are still awake so no nap for Mommy... *SIGH* this too shall pass, I just hope its before I go crazy!

There is a book titled Becoming Babywise all about getting babies on a sleep schedule. There is also one for toddlers. Best book I read about getting sleep. By 2mo my youngest was sleeping 12-13 hours a night and only waking up during teething. Now all three (7yo, 3yo, 18mo) are all getting around 11 hours a night. Good luck to you.

I have a 7 and a 4 year old and they just started sleeping past 8pm (on weekends) a few months ago. We usually get another hour out of them in the morning by putting on a DVD and letting them eat cereal or fruit on the coffee table. I know how you feel. It will get better. Hang in there!

I know the feeling hun, cept primarilly its the kid that hasnt been born yet thats disturbing my sleep and having 2 toddlers in the house all day doesnt help, it will get better when your eldest is in school you will have a bit more time and once they are all off in school then you might get that afternoon nap you crave. its annoying when our husbands dont seem to care bout how tired we are but are happy to go nap in front of us but theres not much we can do
