I am having the same dilemna. My daughter is almost 27 months old. She did good for a while with going pee on the potty when i'd take her. She was around 18 months old then. So I thought, i'll wait until she's 2 to start again. She did good for a few weeks and then went back to being stubborn so we're having that battle now. She'll have her moments to where she wants to sit on the potty, but now she won't sit on it for more than 5 seconds. It's really frustrating. I'm tired of looking at diapers! lol I've tried giving her stickers, suckers, everything. I even bought her the "Elmo's potty time" video. She knows what the potty is, but all she wants to do is either take it apart or put her foot in it. lol

My daughter is 20 months , she just went on the potty for the first time yesterday twice. What I did is I bought her the Elmo Potty time movie. She loves Elmo so this got her really interested. I have not forced her to do it but she was very excited. I would put her on the potty about 15-20 minutes after she had something to drink and I would sit with her for a bit until she went. After she did she was so excited because her dad and I made a huge deal about it. Good luck to you!!

I would suggest first of all not forcing her or pushing her into it. I tried potty training her at around 2 years old and had no luck. She was horrified of the potty. I then decided to get rid of the potty and forget about it altogether and go back to it in a few months. I went back to potty training about 6 months later by simply putting her on the actual toilet and that was it. It took a good solid 3 days and had extreme success. She was ready at that time and I know this because she would want to go by herself, so just don't stress about it. There's no magic age or right or wrong number. Give her a break and then go back to it in about a month and try again, make it a game. You'll have success, good luck!

Jessica,
That is the one that i got. When the music starts she gets up and starts dancing... :)
I have turned the music off. I put her on it today and she just sat there for about an hour and she did we but when i asked her is she did a wee or poo she said "No" but she did do a wee.

My advice is to let her tell you when she's ready. Encourage her to use the potty and just give her time. I know it might be frustrating but I tried every trick with my oldest but he didn't even want anything to do with it. When I finally just stopped trying, is when he made progress until one day, he finally just told me he wanted to go use the potty. If you really want her to be potty trained, I suggest getting some books or videos on it that she might enjoy watching. Every child is different but don't worry she will figure it out. Good luck!!
