hello. i have a son who is 2 years and 8 months. he just started schooling last week, but everytime i talked to his teacher shes telling me that he doesnt like to paint or do some activities. he just want to play, im trying my best to teach him whenever we are at home but he doesnt even listen to me. he keep on walking or sometimes im asking him to paint with me but he doesnt like. he will start getting his toys and go in living room or walking away from me. but if i said we will play then he will come to me. are there moms who have the same situation just like me? or any advice how can i help my son listen and stay in one place doing this things? :(

He is 2 yrs old. Let him be 2. At his age almost all his learning comes from play. Find a preschool program that goes by that theory. He will paint down the road when he gets interest in that until then enjoy playing with toys. Fyi.....boys tend to want to take things apart and build things. Girls tend to want to play dolls and do general! Just how our minds are wired.
