Turning 1yr old blues? Anyone else?

It's 5am here in Fort Worth, TX where my husband, daughter, and I live and as of today, she is offically 11 months old. I'm a FTM and I've been dealing with the 1yr old blues since her 9 month check up. It came in small very spread out waves but the last few weeks, I can look at her doing any activity and it brings on the tears. Now she has 1 month untill she turns a year old and I want to curl in a ball and cry. How in the world did this happen? How can she possibly be a month away from turning 1? I feel like a crazy lady. I'm not a young mom really, she turns 1 on april 10th and I turn 26 on june 16th but I feel young and unprepared. Ugh!!! Any advice? Anyone else going through this? Anyone else gone through this?

Seeing her eat is the big tear jerker, Her doctor advised letting her eat as much table food as possible and she does. Only baby cereal now, all table food or graduate meals. It's so sad, especially since she was "our miracle baby" and we may not be able to have anymore. I want my baby back :( :( :( :(

It is normal to feel this way...but I have heard it gets harder like when they start school....I think we all enjoy that infant stage..it goes even faster the second time around...my son is 3 and daughter 13 months and it flew by even faster second time around. At least look at it this way they are so many great milestones to look forward to as they get older but take lots of pictures or videos so you can always look back...

I went throught he same thing with my son. It first hit me after his first xmas when he was 9 months old, I had real issues with him turning 1. You can't turn back time your little girl will turn 1 whether you like it or not.
My son turned 3 at the weekend and is now off to pre school tomorrow

I went to the same thing with all 3 of my children!

I felt that it went by way to fast and it wasnt to long before they wouldnt need me anymore!

My children are now almost 5,almost 3 and 13mnths old. And in my eyes they are still my babies. Plus the older 2 aernt in nappies so thats a bonus!

My advice is enjoy every moment, take lots of pictures and enjoy her growing and learning!
