My twin daughters are ripping off their diapers at every chance they get and the diaper could be completely dry and they are still taking it off. They are 1 year old and I dont know if I should start potty training or not. If so where do i start?

Thanks ladies! The hubby bought a potty and they like to sit on it and try to play with it. I guess i will have to keep pants on them till they show more signs of being ready..

My twin girls do that too! I tried to keep them in onsies until just recently because I did not believe they were ready for potty training. That helped a lot! I did introduce a potty, but only recently started actively potty training. It was just there, they would sit on it when they wanted, but never went potty in it. Now we have them sit on the potty each time we change their diaper, or whenever they take it off. They are allowed to not wear a diaper only if they are sitting on the potty. If they don't sit, they get a diaper. I still put onsies on them on the days that they really don't want diapers on. We just snap them up out of the way when they are on the potty. But that way I don't have to chase them around the house every 5 minutes trying to get a diaper on them!

i would introduce them to the potty..try to make it fun for them let them pick out a potty..show lots of excitement ..but i wouldnt stress if they dont take to it...potty training is a long process takes anywhere from a couple of weeks to months depending on the child. good luck
