I am home all day everyday. My son is only 8 months old, so I don't even talk to anyone. And he is so young, he doesn't do much. He can't color, or play games. His idea of a great time is me giving raspberries to his belly. lol I just moved to a new area, so I don't know anyone, and i don't even have a car, so I can't go anywhere. My fiance is in Haiti for a month, so even at night I'm alone. I would kill to be around an adult. I am soo bored everyday I wonder how I make it through the day. I AM LOSIN MY MIND!!!

Oh, honey! I know that feeling. What I would do is join a Moms group and host play groups at your house. You might make a few good friends that you can hang out with at your house. They'll understand that you don't have a set of wheels. Is there a park nearby. Maybe one you can walk to? Or a mall? A coffee shop? Book store? Anything within walking distance? Anywhere outside your house you will find adults and then you just have to be willing to strike up conversations. I know it is tough to be in a new place alone, but you have to put yourself out there. Where do you live?

You poor thing Maria! At home with a baby is difficult, especially when you are, in effect, on your own for so much of the time.I was in that situation with my first, didn't resolve it and got quite depressed, and started to resent my life/baby/partner etc. It's not worth it. So do get out there and meet other moms.Even if it's just once a week, and even if you don't meet anyone you can see yourself being friends with, its adult company and you need that.

Best of luck Maria.

Hun I know how ya feel... i'm in the same boat almost... my fiance work 12 hr shifts 6 days a week so I have a zombie when hes home lol But as far as the boredom goes, I have a almost 4 month old and I cant wait until shes big enough to actually 'do' more things. I know everybody says cherish it..it doesnt last forever.. well i'm actually looking forward to her getting older lol What I do is pack her in the stroller and walk around town (im new in my town too) and with us being like 1 of 2 mixed couples with a mixed child and me with tattoos lol people do not usually roll out the welcome mat when they see us walking and strolling down the sidewalk lol I would just go for a walk and see what ya find :) a park maybe? I agree with what Ali is sayn.....I would maybe start a Community on here for NH moms and see who else is maybe in your area :)
