We pulled out daughter's name from Greek mythology, Kallisto, and her middle name Maebh (may-V) is Irish. Kallisto was the seduced by Zeus and was transformed into the great bear constellation and Maebh means "the cause of great joy" &/or "intoxicating one" Our next daughter will be Kadianne meaning first and Corantine meaning hurricane. There is also the name Delaney which I've always loved. There are some beautiful irish names.

Personally I like "magnet names" as I call them. Names that later on in life you can find on magnets. :) But my fiance convinced me to name our daughter Eowyn (pronounced A-O-WIN) it means Horse of Joy. Just a side note. Her middle name is Margaret and almost everyone we know calls her Maggie.

My name is Audrey Adonna....but have always been called by my middle name. My grandmother was S. Adonna Calkins...named after her aunt back in 1870's. My daughter is Karyn Adonna, my granddaughters are Caitrina Adonna and Colleen Adonna. I am hoping they will pass the Adonna to another generation some day. Have had so many compliments on the Adonna name.

my daughters name is Grace, you don't hear very often anymore, i liked that it was very old fashioned. her middle name is Lynn, i almost combined the 2 names as a first. it would have been Graclynn. but my husband thought it was a little odd.

I new a girl once, her name was Alexandria. But they called her Xan. I've always thought that was kinda cool. I'm 9 weeks pregnant now so I like this thread. It was a good idea.

When I was pregnant I was hoping for a girl but ended up having a boy. His name is Damian Dainjier, it's pronounced Danger. But had he been a girl the name I had chosen was Ava Adonna. I have always loved the name Adonna, it's my mom's middle name. I used to hate my middle name as a kid because I didn't know anyone who had it, it's Christiana.

I love old names. I hate "different" names that no one can spell or pronounce. I was going to call our baby Renae Isobel if it was a girl but he's Logan Damian. I also liked Lola, Chelsea or Ané.

My name is Unique in and of itself.....JANIQUE CHANTELLE My mom came up with my name to sound french "Zhuh-neek" is how it is supposed to be pronounced and Chantelle...from Chantilly lace. I love my name because my mom's name is Janet and her friends used to say she was Unique so she came up with JANIQUE. I had it butchered, but, I get more compliments about it than I get it messed up.

I just recently heard a name for the first time and I love it... Tymbree (pronounced timbree). It's one of those ones that grows on you. The more you hear it the more you like it. :)

My daughter's name is Freja. It's unusual here, but not where my husband's family is from.

It really suits her, but it's kind of a nuisance because nobody here can figure out that the j is like a y. I guess I thought that was more common knowledge than it really is. I'd kind of like more people to have her name just so the word would get out on the pronunciation. A lot of people say freesia but it's supposed to be fray-a.

My lil girl's name is Paris Serenity. I wanted something unique and found Serenity but couldn't find anything to go with it until my best friend came up with Paris. My neice's name is Maci. I think that's a unique name also. Good luck =)

When I was pregnant with my youngest I was hoping he was gonna be a girl because my oldest two girls are Destiny and Serenity. I wanted to Name Him Liberty (if he was a girl) his name is William. My nephew also has a very unique name that could be for either a boy or a girl his name is Infinity.
My cousin has a very resourceful way of finding her names for her children. She goes to the Social Security web site and goe to the bottom of the name list and usually picks one that isn't very popular. Good Luck
