My baby girl is a year old,and she will absolutely not eat vegetables. I've tried mixing them w/fruit. And salting the baby food and nothing has worked so far,she spits it right back out. Should i be concerned?

Hi Jerri,

I suggest trying maybe frozen peas and carrots and giving them to her as a finger food. At this age she is wanting to explore and learning to feed herself and having that independence may be what she needs to try them. It makes it more interesting to her if she is doing it herself. You could also try baking a yam or sweet potato and cutting it up in little cubes for her to try. Pretty much any veggie can be turned into finger food. Good luck!

Stop with the jarred stuff and give her small bits of the big people kind. The flavor is awful and she may not like the texture either. Fresh or frozen veggies are so much better in both taste and texture. Just be careful to not over cook and keep to appropriate bite sizes.

Most importantly, just keep offering them to her. It can take anywhere from 1 to 30 tries before they decide if they like it or not.
