My youngest is 19 months old now and has been walking since he was 11 months. My other 2 were slow walkers too. But anyway, my youngest is into EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING he get get his hands on! He climbs on the computer desk, the dressers and sometimes it drives me nuts, but then he gives me this look like "look at me mommy i did it by myself" I love him to pieces though. In the past few days he discovered that he can open our movie storage and has decdied to rearrange all of the movies! gatta love them!

My little girl walked soon as well. She was 9 months old and just wanted to walk like us I think. I love it because I can let her walk some places and not have to hold her which is nice because being pregnant I have a lot to hold already. But yes she is into everything and anything and my whole place has to be Emily proofed. Though I do have certain things I have taught her not to touch. I wonder if my next will be so quick? hmmm.......

My walking toddler wasn't even a toddler! NO LIE! He started to walk at 7 months and 2 weeks! So he has been on the go for a long time already! It was fun and nice, but wish I could have had been able to cuddle him longer, or watch him crawl.

I remember at 3 weeks he would be on his tummy and holding his head up. My sister recently had a child and at 6 weeks he couldn't even hold his head up.

I believe we have a gifted child. He is a quick learner. Knew all his letters and numbers (1-10) at 2 years and 2 months. He could recognize them when pointed to them. We bought him a good quality tee-ball tee at his 2nd birthday. he pushed it aside and wanted to be pitched too. So, he has hit a ball (even in the basement), being pitched too at the age of 2. Many in our small town are surprised at his talent. Its been fun to watch but I always feel that he has grown up too fast.

My biggest concern however is that he will be bored once school starts. He is a social bug though.

I re-read and this sounds like a brag session, but I hope others can brag about their children too! Looking forward to it.
