wat can i do wen my daughter does not listen at all

my daughter is 3 and does not listen at all i do time out and naughty corner and take her toys aways etc but she just doesnt listen only wen she wants some thing,
i just keep doing it wat else can i try help!!!!

Another problem might be consistency. Consistency is a major factor in disciplining and how well your kids will listen. If you only do what you say you'll do half the time, then she has no reason to listen the other half, because she knows there is a chance it won't happen. If you think that might be the problem try being more consistent in following through with your words. If you say you'll give her a time out, or spanking, or take her toys away then MAKE SURE YOU DO IT!!! (I'm not shouting that - I just wanted to emphasize it :D )

So she does not listen to anything? How do you talk to her? Some 3 year olds, especailly girls! want to feel "grown up". Do you tell her why things are done the way you ask? Can you explain the reasons?

ex. Please pick up your toys, or they may be stepped on and broken!

A kid understands that they do not want their toys broken, so they are more liable to pick them up!

Also its possible she's just looking for independence. Does she have friends her age? How do they act?
