I have an almost 9 month old baby boy, he has been exclusively bf since birth until about a month ago, and since then has been having a bottle or o a day. I would like to go back to work, and am hoping to wean himoff completely in the next month. He is ery attached to nursing, the only way to get him to nap is to bf and cuddle with him and he still wakes up once or twice at night for a comfort feed. Anybody have any good tips on how to do this?

its weird..he actually takes his bottle best from me which from what people tell me isn't normal. He will take it during the day or if we are out, but if he's tired or cranky there is no way he will settle down unless he gets what he wants, very frusterating!

If dad or someone else is available, try to have them give the baby the bottles. A pacifier might work too. Until he's completely weaned, it's best to let someone else give him bottles, babies know their mothers scent and exclusively bf babies then root when hungry and give mom a hard time with bottles.
