What and how much are you feeding your 8-10 month old?

How many solid meals a day? How many bottles or breastfeeding sessions a day? What kinds of solids are you giving? I'm just trying to get an idea of what everyone else is doing. Thanks!

Hi Amanda,

My lil guy is 9 mo and I give him solids 3 times a day. Cereal & fruit for breakfast, yogurt for lunch and a veggie & fruit for dinner. He still wakes around 4 or 5 am for a bottle so, with that included, I give him a total of 4 bottles of formula a day. He also loves cheerios so he eats a few of those throughout the day as snacks. This works pretty well for him and he seems satisfied.

I give him all kinds of things....he loves just about everything except peas :) Oh, and he won't eat any pureed meat or meat/veggie combination. Guess I'll have to wait til he gets more teeth. Haha. But almost all kinds of veggies & fruit have been well received. He also likes soft scrambled eggs. I'm going to try fresh avocado next.

He absolutely LOVES the Sprout or Plum pouches which have amazing combinations such as apple/blueberry/spinach & pear/spinach etc. (sounds a bit gross but I tasted it and it's quite good). They get a bit pricey, though so I'm going to start trying to make my own. Maybe. Hopefully.

Hope this is helpful...:)
