I work out during my day. Usually after breakfast I turn on some music and dance while I clean. Then any other times I am in the kitchen I will do it again. I also do push ups, sit ups, squats, leg lifts, ect. I just make it game to work out more and more each day. My daughter (only 15 months) loves doing these things with me.
To control my snacking I keep lots of fruit and veggies around the hummus.
I lost the 80lbs I put on with my first pregnancy and 10 extra! I have gained appropriate weight this pregnancy.

I do jazzercise, you should find one in your area, they do have childcare and in some cases you can babysit for 1hr in exchange for your work out. it is fun. Before I found Jazz I borrowed tapes/dvds from the library. I also do a parttime home based business, it is fun and easy, saves me and my family lots of money. send me a message if you need more info.

I am a compulsive snacker so I don't buy anything unhealthy when I grocery shop. I know if I buy cokes or cookies they will be gone in a day so I just stay away! I buy fruit and whole grain pita and hommus. I also make sure I hit the gym 3-4 times a week.

I totally understand. There are days where I like to snack often. What I try to do is stock up on healthy snacks so when I get the urge to munch, I have almonds, yogurt, or fresh fruit & vegetables available. I am not sure how old your child is, but I find when I got to story times & other activities, I am less prone to snack because I have a full schedule with my child during the day.
I hope this helps. Alicia @ www.seasonsofmotherhood.org

What worked for me right off the bat is trying the free trial of acai berry and cleaning out my colon. On top of that I don't or have not done anything drastic just some small changes like eating dinner earlier, we used to eat at 8pm and now we eat at 5:30(gives you more time to digest), with that also not having seconds and just slightly smaller portions and chewing your food longer helps to make you feel more full oh and a big glass of water or juice before eating. Also I started putting a little less sugar in my coffee every day and switched from using half & half to just reg. milk for my cream. Less deserts as a whole. I also stretch (not exercise) but stretch 2 times a day. Some of this might sound crazy but in reality nothing drastic and all these small changes have helped a great deal in losing the 10-15 pounds I needed to and I have kept it all off.

You need to find something to keep yourself from getting really bored. Like reading a book or exercising or even turning on some music and dancing around the house with your kids. My kids love that. And if you know you are prone to snacking during the day then you should try and make sure you have some healthy snacks in the house.
