I used to give mine toast or chunks of fruit.....yoghurts are good(if u dont mind the mess).....I also gave them finger rusks (i think Heinz did them)......as Erica says anything that drool can dissolve is good....i found chunks of apple handy when they started teething cuz they are hard enough for them to gnaw on

hope this helps

If they are able to pick up finger foods I use to serve infants at my preschool soft foods in very small portions nothing they could choke on.(I hate hotdogs at this age and even when they are up to 18 months) Break a part muffins, toast, canned peaches, waffles...

It depends on howmany teeth she has.At that age I gave my baby boy baby Mum Mums...started him on Dry Cheerios a while after.Try some Petit Danino Yogurt..it's very rich in Vitamin D,calcium, and very imp for Brain Development..DHA.Sometimes the Heinz snacks are good too..they usually say how old Baby should be to try..but my son had alot of teeth,so I felt more comfortable giving some before 12 months. They have to be developmentally ready to eat solids. It eventually will come :) !!!
