Stick him outside. It'll wear him out trust me. My boy used to do the same thing. Now he goes outside, eats dirt, lol, plays with our dog. It really helps. Hope this works for you. God Bless!

sorry just saw your profile. he is a little over a year right? NO DRUGS. My son has severe adhd and some other issues and my dr. wouldn't even consider anything other than just watching his behaqvioral patterns. until he was 10. he is currently on medication for adhd which works wonderful, he acts better he feels better he can concentrate on school better. however your son is way to young for any of that. try and avoid naps alltogether. my 5 nyr old stopped taking naps when she was about 18mo. different kids need different sleep no matter what anyone says. you should also talk to your dr about the situation.

First I would ask how old is he? That makes a huge difference with everything.

you're right ritalin isnt good for kids, there are much better ways to treat/help whatever is going on with him. Most times its an allergy to something but b/c docs dont want to take the time to figure out whats really going on, they just give you a pill to treat the symptoms not the actual problem.

Take him to a Naturopath, they have alternative ways that can really help.

first how old is logan? second depending on his age he may be going to bed to early but not by much, i would put him to sleep closer to 8pm but that also depends on his age and i agree to less naps or short ones and keep him busy if he is occupied and using his thinking skills it seems to tire them out, i dont agree with pills either.

That sounds pretty normal. My son was like that. I just laid down with him until he fell back to sleep. I had him take less or no naps during the day and that helped too. No drugs, you are right, that is bad for them.

Good luck
