If my kids dont share after the first warning, they both miss out because i stop the problem by removing the item they are fighting over

that it is normal :) I agree setting a timer works wonders, they both know when the bell rings it's time to switch. I've used that a lot, even now with my 5 and soon to be 3 year old. It's practically impossible to explain to a 3 or 2 yr old that they "need" to share, when all they want is that particular thing, "right now". When neither will listen I take the toy away and calmly inform them that when they can share it I will put it back in the toy room for use. Good luck, I know it's tough:(

one thing I do with my kids if they are having trouble sharing (Ages 3 and 20 months) is set a timer. It works great for my 3 year old if his sister keep taking the toys he wants. He knows that when the timer beeps he'll get it back or they can trade. She's usually pretty easy going when it's time to give it up and half the time my son will get so busy with something else that when the timer beeps he doesn't even bother getting the toy. lol
I totally agree with what Rachel said too. Sometimes it's just easier to have a couple of the same things especially since they are both boys :)
Good luck and I hope that helps!

buy them the same thing... thats what i do with my 2 & 5 year old, that is if it is something like cars or planes... not nicer toys.
