What do you do for fun?

I don't even know what fun is anymore. Things are not going very good for me right now and I feel like I need something to look forward to daily or weekly or even monthly. I don't have a baby-sitter so preferably something I can do at home. I really wish I could find a cheap hobby that I really enjoy. What do you do to keep yourself sane and happy?

I do various puzzles like crosswords, sudoku and such, online FB games or other games I can find, watch TV or movies or bake after my LO's gone to bed. When she's awake we like going to parks, libraries or museums. This year as she's getting older (she's only 2 yrs), I'm looking forward to going to theater plays - maybe a kids' movie.

My husband and I like to take our kids down to the park in the evenings when he gets home from work. There are a few other moms there that have kids that my kids like to play with. We all hang out and chit chat and I take my camera with me. On certain evenings one of the local churches has some kid of youth activities for older kids, teen and young adults at the park and often let the kids participate. I also have a scrap book program for my computer and I make scrapbooks. Ok I know I'm cheating in the scrap booking category but its a money savor. For $20 you get a program that has it all and all you have to do is bring your creativity and up load your pictures. When your done you save it as a PDF and take the pages down to staples or office max and have them printed up. You can make several copies and turn them into Christmas and birthday presents. Cheep hobby. There is also facebook and some other blogs for a couple of my favorite TV shows. I also look forward to a nice hot shower in the evenings. When I can I like to read a good book. I'm also a rabid ebayer, most of the time I just like to look but when there is a need for something I can get some pretty good deals.

Personally, I do a lot of reading when the kids go to bed. I did start sculpting miniatures with sculpey and it's a really cheap hobby. You can buy a decent supply on the hobby lobby website and it's easy and fun to get into. There's also a ton of tutorials and whatnot on the internet to learn how to make things with Sculpey. Just think about what you'd really like to do with your time when you have some time to yourself and go for it. You don't have to spend a lot of cash to have fun or to even keep yourself busy.

I take my daughter to the park and we play together, I go and lay in a warm bubble bath with a good book while my daughter is sleeping and my husband is at work, My daughter husband and I go on walks/bike rides I will call and talk to my mom when my daughter is sleeping, I go and sit outside and journal write when ever I get the chance!

Make my scrapbook, CoM, Facebook, have coffee with friends while the kids play, take the rats to the park and have a chat to other mums, shopping and trying on shoes and dresses I can't afford.
