I am curious how other Stay at Home Moms create the mental fuel they need to keep them going?

Thank you for asking/ sharing this question!!!! I am a stay-home mommy of twin girls, I've been home for three years and have often, I mean oooofffttteeennnn pondered this same question. Unfortunately, I'm just now learning about this site. Lol
I look forward to teaching kindergarten really soon, I just need to take the EC-6th content exam. But to answer your question; I try to keep my mind busy by managing home life like school. I was a former collegiate athlete and after school site director before our twins came. I know my strengths are in creativity. So, I create worksheets (I.e. about numbers, shapes, alphabets colors etc,) schedule outdoor trips/visits to museums, parks aquariums zoos, always searching for free events. My daughters are becoming familiar with library trips, they have their own cards.

My mind is constanly challenged throughout the day by preparing what's next. Latley, I've made a learning center/station right here in our home for the girls...we have a board with the number, letter, and color of the week. I'm preparing my daughters for learning while they are preparing me for teaching.

OAN: I've learned in 3years just how important it is to MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF! I am also a writer at heart...writing is my joy, my peace, and my truth. With that being said I write, I read and meditate 💗

[HUGS] To ALL the Moms out there (at home and work) who realize each day with their child is a gift.-Cricket

I come on here :P Lots of problem solving to be done.
I also tend to watch a lot of home improvement and cooking shows. Specifically the competition ones, like Handyman Challenge or Chopped. I try to figure out what I would do in that situation, what I would make with the ingredients or whatever.

I do crochet. It's calming and usefull. I teach piano once a week. It helps to go out with friends every now and then :)
