Thank you guys. I checked out the website and the one near me is about an hour drive. How do you go about getting it started in your church.?

I love Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). You can search their website for groups near you. It is christian based and many groups meet at local churches. The meetings follow a program that always end in a group discussion. I like the fellowship and support that MOPS offers. Most groups offer childcare but not all do. My group meets in the evening and children aren't included. I enjoy the time away from home and qualify it as quality "me" time. My MOPS group doesn't organize playdates during the day, but many of the women do that on their own. It is an international organization that participates in charity work and other events. There is an annual fee which a lot of people may consider steep, but for me it's well worth it.

MOPS is a life saver! it is a moms group for all moms from conception to 5 year old. I cannon live without my mops days. We get together, the kids often have care on site (depends on the group) and the mom's get a chance to grow as women, mothers, and just have a couple of hours without the kids. go to mops.org > groups>find a group>type in your info and the groups in your area will pop up. the best thing about mops is that it is international! so if you are family that could move around the world, mops is all over! check out a group...it is truly the best thing that ever happend to me!
