I would like to do something creative with my 17 month old son for Valentine's Day. Any ideas for a craft?

Last year my son was 2 months old on Valentine's day and I made footprint hearts. I painted his feet with red paint and made footprints with the the heels together in kind of a "V" shape. Then I cut them out in a heart shape and glued on red paper with doilies and his picture. This year he's 14 months old and I'm taking pictures of him. He'll be in just his diaper with a white background and red rose petals everywhere and holding a red rose or candy box or whatever other props I have.

Hi Carolyn, Im from the uk and some people do jack valentine (if you havent heard of it Jack Valentine, one of our collection of British Folk Customs.

www.information-britain.co.uk/customdetail.php?id=45 ) Maybe you could make a card for 'jack valentine' to leave outside your door for him to collect in exchange for a goody bag. Basically your partner or neighbour knocks on the door, leaves the bag of presents on the door step for the child and runs. Child opens the door and is a happy little bunny with there bag. The child is not to see 'jack valentine' though. In the bag is normally a book, small toy and a few small sweets. Not everyone likes the idea of this but i had it as a child and thought it was wonderful. Just a thought :-)
