going out for a bike ride or a walk when the kids are at school, gives me time to think and sort out any problems

On a daily basis I get up at 5 am so that I can drink a cup of coffee, or two, watch the news and think about what the day has in store for me... I do this daily. But after the kids are in bed I like to treat myself... bubble bath, paint my nails, lay in bed and watch a movie, what ever I feel like doing. My favorite is taking a box of ding dongs and crawling in bed to watch a movie! Yumm!

Bath time and a girly (smut) fiction book! Always does the trick for me...and once I have my baby, out comes the red wine! :o)

My fave 'me time' treats are watching a DVD with a good pasta, or facebooking, or giving myself a pedi. Also enjoy a bit of quality time with my husband each night after bub has gone to bed and we can either have a drink together or cook a meal together and talk about our days. I love my daughter to death and never let myself feel guilty for taking a bit of time out or doing something for me as I'm still the same person I was before, I'm just also a mummy now. : )

Well, I'm pregnant with #2 and my daughter is 15 months old and is into everything so it is hard to even go to the bathroom sometimes! I try to get to bed at a decent time so I can get up before her and do my pre-natal yoga and take a quick shower. I feel so rejuvenated and ready to start my day if I get to do those things. Lucky for me, she loves to lay in her crib after she wakes up so that buys me a little extra time.

At nap time I like to talk a long bath and read. It really helps me relax. I don't get to do it often but it's great when I do.

Get up early with my husband and have coffee. It is the only time we are alone with each other to talk and be a couple. It's the one thing we did when we were still dating. It sets our day right. I don't have to wake up at 5am, but I do so I can have that time with him.

i always watch my soap opera, sounds cheesy but helps me relax. I always make sure to take a shower each day and when I start to feel guilty for taking some time for myself I remember that a happy mom is a happy baby

glad to hear i'm not the only mom who doesn't make it into the shower everyday lol. I usually relax a little while the kids are napping and i take at least an hour after the kids have gone to sleep to check my e mail and get on facebook.

I use nap time as my time to enjoy the quiet and rejuvenate. I usually either knit, cross stitch or go on the computer. Thing I can't do any other time of the day!

At nap time I make a cup of hot tea and read. And I recently started a blog and journal that I like to write in when my husband and son have gone to sleep. It only takes about 20 mins and I get all my emotions on paper and if I really like one entry I transfer it to my blog.

There are a couple things I like to do because if you do the same thing every day it gets old. Sometimes I like to take a quick walk with headphones on or just listen to the wind, Make a cake or cupcakes, my favorite thing to do is to get out my foot soak and soak my feet for 20 minutes while I watch a good show and then if I have time finish it up by giving yourself a quick pedicure.
