I have raised 8 kids and by far my laswt was the easiest! At 21/2 I started training him. Ya know what I did? I took him outside to pee on a rock! After 2 days of that I took him to his potty and went in it no problem. Now doing the other deal, I put him on the potty and asked him if he had to go. After a couple of days of repeating this, he finally went! It took about a week for both and it's important to praise them constantly for what they do. Now he just wears a pull-up at night. Good Luck!

When they are ready they will do it really quickly, do it when they are ready and not because you are getting pressured by others

Well the best time to potty-train is when they r between a year and a half to two and half.. U know when they are ready .. When my son was young, I started potty training him when he was a year and a half.. I started putting on the potty every 20 minutes and then eventually, when he had to go potty, he would say to me , peepee mommy.. He would go on the potty and then we put him in pull-ups and as soon as he felt he had to go pee he would go even with those on.. he did not like h aving wet pants..
