I'm a 56 year old guy and one of three care givers to a set of 4 month old twins, the guy around the house and I work at home . I don't know if these children would be bettter or worse off by calling me the equivalent of Daddy ( Papa works best in this country ) because even at my age I hang out with "chicks" . Their mama is my worker / friend and just not sure if it is healthy for them to see Papa having other girl friends than mama ( their mama is not my girl friend ) on one hand and on the other hand I'm not sure if it really matters what they call me but we are bonded and share a home and I will be around here . I'm having so much fun and just not sure or I think it is good to be able to say that is my Papa as I am but how to answer why is papa sleeping around ( i'm not so active like that don't get me wrong but you get the idea) , any thoughts are welcome

I wasn't actually soliciting name suggestions rather speculating if it was critcal or not to have some to call father . On one hand I think it demonstrates a certain level of commitment and on another level I don't think it matters if "you are there" . My name is not really Joe , I figured my real name did not need to be part of the conversation or was not at issue . I had 3 Mr. Joe Dad's we normally ended up going with the first name and dropped the Mr.
