Plaster of paris....you can put it in different size pans and let them do hand and foot prints and then decorate them....just cover the floor in lots and lots of newspaper and do it in the kitchen.

I love the idea of doing an obstacle course. I have never thought of that.. We do allot of exploring and add taking notes "this helps with schooling".. I will let you know how it goes.

I feel youre pain about not being able to take youre kids outside to run off energy!!LOL!!!
What I do is I take all kids of pillows and anything soft you can find around the house and make obstacle course. Its fun and it helps wear them out. We like to play other things like hide and seek, we make forts and go "campin",movies and snacks are always fun. Or you can play explorers. What we do is find a bunch of stuffed animals and put them all over the house and pretend like youre explorers looking for wild animals!!
You can always watch there favorite cartoons and you can get lots of good ideas for playing pretend!! I hope this helped!!!

I wish there was some place to go. I live in a very very small town.. My oldest has been a little sick so going outside is out of the question... LOL At the sidewalk chalk.. I would first have to shovel snow.. Yuck yuck and more yuck...
thanks for the ideas...
