They like to get on the little play kitchen. I am watching them but i don't want to turn my back to put something in the oven and the fall and get hurt. HELP FIRST TIME MOM.

If you don't want to put them in a high chair (which DOES work wonders at times) remove any toys that pose the hazard of climbing and falling from the room that they will be in. When I am at home alone with my son and I need to cook or clean with something he shouldn't touch I gate him off in the next room with a bunch of small toys, a cup of water and some crackers. Sometimes he complains, sometimes he doesn't - but you've got to do what you've got to do to keep them safe!

well I always put my baby in the high chair with A couple of toys, couple of crakers and a drink would keep them busy enough.

I find that putting my little girl on her high chair with a cup of water and her favourite cartoon on the tv helps while dinner's being cooked. Hope this helps :-)
