My children are closer to me than their father :( (He is a pilot and gone for a long period of time) Im pretty much the only parent when hubby is away because I dont work and Im with them 24/7. I love them both so very much and am trying to teach both my children that they are safe and sound with me and that their daddy loves and miss them very much when he is away. It breaks my heart when they tell me I miss daddy, when is he coming home. Since daddy left, they both been in my bed (brother is 7 years old) at night and when its time for night night, my daughter wants me to sleep in the bed with her and not go out to the living room to have me time and she cries and cries, scream for me to come back in there and I told her that she is safe and the she needs to go to bed. Im torn on what I should do :( I love my children very much!!!! Please, i need some advice!

I have an absent father for my child, not for work though, other reasons and I founf that allowing child/ren to talk to parent if possible before bed and giving child a picture of Daddy they can kiss before getting off the phone, or at bedtime in general works. Also if you have a chair sit it next to your daughters bed and be very firm in telling her that you will sit there for X amount of minutes then you have things to do so the house isn't messy when Daddy gets back. It may work. But good luck.
