i am a single mum and my daughter has just started school this year not yet settled. but i am left wondering if i should return to work or not this year, or should i weight another year? ( i only have 1 daughter)
If i return to work how do u fit in school drop offs and pickups ?
how do u juggle both, i also have my niece come stay with me on weekdays and nights coz my sister works so my niece will spend 1-2 nights at my house sometimes 3, & time litterally runs away, is it harder to be a working mum?

hey charlotte thanks for your reply
i often wondered if i should start an at home day care but i dont know whats involved in running one n yes i could easily do a course in child care, i think that there is allot to concider like the size of my house and the yard n i would have to put up extra fences to keep the dogs seperate from the houses area,

im not sure its a matter of money its just i dont think much of myself anymore, and am not happy with myself . but i was happy when i studdyed certs 3 in home and community care, aged care, and certs 3 & 4 in disability coz i was working towards something but i didnt like the fields, i dont really know what to do

as for at home oppertunitys is that what u do now? have you tryed it and what did you think have you ever found a good 1 i have seen a few but none that could actually generate a stable income

That would depend more on you. How badly do you need the money? That would be the first question. Would you be willing to get the certifications necessary to maybe run an at-home childcare? I tried it, but I couldn't stay with it long. Too much happened in too short a period of time, and I had to give it up. Or, you could maybe find some work from home opportunities? There are loads of them out there, just finding the right one may be hard. Do you have anyone else available to help out with the drop offs and pickups? Or are you trying to do it all by yourself? If you are associated with a local church group, you may be able to find some help there, or maybe from other moms in the neighborhood. My sister works (or used to) part time, so she could be home when the kids left for school and home again when the bus dropped them off. Don't know if that helped any, but good luck!
