sometimes I think she is reaching but she likes to keep her fists clinched and won't grab anyhting. Is it still too early?

every baby is different, so what your daughter is doing is completely normal for her :) i wouldn't worry about it at this point, she'll reach her milestones sooner or later. when my son was real young, i would read so much stuff in baby books that i expected him to be at a certain level with his milestones, so when he wouldn't reach them "on time", i would freak out and be like "why isn't he doing this and this?".. it can drive a new mom crazy! i learned to tune out what everyone else's baby was capable of and focus more on how amazing my kiddo is :) he didn't have head control until probably 4-5 months, which is "later than normal", but he's now 10.5 months and he's just about walking. so sometimes they're "late" with some milestones, but in the end they catch up! as far as grabbing for things, i don't remember exactly when he started doing that, but seriously try not to worry, because once she starts it won't stop, and the things she'll be doing will amaze you!! :)

Every baby is different. My babies took awhile after they reached for things before they would actually open their fist and try to grab anything. I wouldn't worry. As long as she's looking at things and making some effort it will come. :)

I wouldn't worry just yet. This is the time she will probably start exploring with touch. I would however be more concerned if she was 6 months and not grabbing stuff yet.
