I am a nursing mom and my baby is 6 months old. I got my period a little after 5 months and I am still bleeding. It has been 6 weeks now and the flow can b heavy at times. Is this normal?

stick to mostly water and milk. It's better for them anyways. I didn't introduce juice to both my kids until they were almost a year old, and there both 2 & 3 now and I still water it wayyy down.

Why are you in such a hurry to give your baby juice? I strted giving my son rice cereal when he was 4 months, then started giving him vegetable and fruit baby food at 6 months. I gave juice i think at 1 year, even then i watered it way down. Your baby can't handle juice at this time.

Juice causes cavities. My daughter is 13 months and still hasn't been introduced to it...I'm waiting as long as I can.

very high in sugar and malic acid. i would say still to milk and water untill he is six months old. they say dont feed untill they are six months old because the body cant deal with food chemicals cant digest them. and introducing foods too early can hurt their guts and cause permanent intolerances. so no. milk water and if you must feed him before six months then only very simple rice food mixed with milk. they really cant digest things untill six months and even then apple juice should be mixed with water becuase it is very high in fructose.

There's no need to give babies juice. All they need at this age is formula/breastmilk. Even when you start solids the only other fluids you should give is water.
You should wait as long as possible before introducing anything else.
